100cm installed height and fits 70-80cm gaps which have strong vertical mounting locations on each side. I've kept all the mounting hardware, mounting templates (to align the brackets) and the instructions.

This type of gate has four attachment points to the walls and the release mechanism requires pushing in a plastic tab and lifting the gate a little to release it from the upper and lower catches. You lift it into the catches to lock it shut again. One advantage of this is the gate doesn't press outwards on the mounting locations to secure itself, so it doesn't depend on the rigidity of the wall or banister on either side to be held in place.

The mounting brackets need to be screwed into the wall/banister/door frame on either side. I have retained the screws I used for a wooden door frame but if you are mounting on a wall you may need different screws/fixings.

Be aware that if mounted in a doorway you may not be able to shut the door entirely once the gate is installed, depending on how the doorframe is designed.
