Samsung DVD & HDD player & recorder (PVR) (Ravelston EH4)

This DVD and HDD player/recorder is a Samsung DVD-SH895M and can record your TV programs like a normal PVR, but it can also record to DVD.

It works, but it has always been slow to respond to the remote control, and now it's so slow, you have to be patient to get a response.
The remote might benefit from having the internal membrane and electrical sensors cleaned inside it, if can do some Remote Control TLC

It has a range of connections at the rear, but does not have HDMI, so you need a Scart lead (included)


There are control buttons on the front of the unit which work better than the remote, but with a quite limited range of functions
