1940s/1950s Murphy model A168 valve radio (Nailsea BS21)

I’m pretty certain it worked when it went into storage about 35 years ago, but it doesn’t seem to be working now. However, it certainly looks the part if you are a retro enthusiast and, after all, how much on the radio is worth listening to these days?
