Free: standard lamp (Nailsea BS21) Good-quality hardwood, with walnut finish (which is dull after many years of loft storage, but should polish up well). Height 5 feet. Originally the cable ran from the bulb-holder through the centre of the column, but when we acquired it the cable had been cut off at the bottom. Unless you can find a way of boring through the column to reinstate the original arrangement, you will need to have a lead trailing from the bulb-holder.

Free: vintage office paper – obsolete sizes or types (Nailsea BS21) Gifted From the 1980s: Xerox 80gsm copier paper, 215 x 330 mm (very odd size): 1 ream Orbit 45gsm paper for carbon copies, foolscap (203 x 330mm or 8” x 13”): 2 reams Croxley Script 70gsm paper, foolscap: 2 reams Unicopy 80gsm copier paper: 1 ream Various: Quantity of unwrapped paper, foolscap: approx 1.5 reams All these are white. And, as a slight concession to modernity (in relation to size, at least): A4 Judicature paper (used for court documents pre-1999 and has blue ruled margins for sewing): 1 ream Preference will be given to anyone who can offer a plausible educational or charitable use.

They have been in store for over 30 years and were not kept properly flat, so are a bit wavy and some of the edges are slightly discoloured or otherwise less than perfect. There are 120 sheets in total, so I’m happy to divide them between those who are interested.

Free: triple ‘diner bar’ ceiling light (Nailsea BS21) Gifted Antique brass finish with three clear, ribbed, glass shades. Takes 3 x 42W maximum Edison screw GLS bulbs, or presumably an LED equivalent. Overall width (between outer edges of shades) 35 inches (89 cms). Height adjustable from 26.5 inches (67 cms) to 34 inches (86 cms) from ceiling to bottom of shades (although bulb will protrude a little further). Each shade is 8.5 inches (21.5 cms) in diameter. Complete and in excellent condition.

Free: 1920s FOUR PANEL INTERIOR DOOR (Nailsea BS21) Expired Size: 77¼” x 29½” Mahogany-stained softwood with good quality bronze handles. Good condition, with no decay or damage, other than a hairline crack to one panel, which opens slightly in dry conditions.

Free: four-drawer filing cabinet (Nailsea BS21) Gifted ‘Leabank’ steel filing cabinet, grey. Robust construction and in good condition, although the paint is a little tired in places. Lockable (no key, but number is on the lock, so a replacement should be easy to obtain). Height 52 inches, width 18 inches, depth 24.5 inches.

Free: Kitchen worktops (Nailsea BS21) Gifted Two lengths of Duropal charcoal-coloured melamine-faced worktop, each 600mm deep and 38mm thick. One piece is 1220mm long, the other 600mm long. One length of B&Q speckled grey, black and white melamine-faced worktop, also 600mm deep and 38mm thick. Usable length 1 metre (excluding a chipped corner). All three have never been used and are in excellent condition.

Free: small chest of drawers (Nailsea BS21) Expired MFI ‘Astra’ chest of three drawers, white melamine with grey trim and handles. Height 710mm, width 790mm, depth 470mm. Solid construction, but the top has signs of damp damage at the back and sides, which could be disguised with white paint. Handles have changed colour somewhat over the years.

Free: roller blind (Nailsea BS21) Expired Aluminium-coloured fabric, which is supposed to provide thermal insulation. Suits an opening approx 1200mm wide (fabric width 1100mm). Length1700mm. Minus the mounting brackets, so you’d need to buy a set of ends and brackets to suit.

Free: ceramic dish (Nailsea BS21) Expired Very heavy construction, but not suitable for outside use as it was not fired sufficiently so the glaze is vulnerable to flaking. Diameter 400mm, height 80mm.
