Free: Dog bowl stand with six 1.8 litre stainless steel bowls (Clarkston G76) **Photo shows two bowls in place and two at the side but there another two bowls of same size being bundled with it.** Used but in nice, clean, working condition. Have had this for a few years now. Been used for my lovely, elderly spinone until he passed over 2 years ago. Has since been used when a few dog chums have occasionally stayed for a day or two. Sadly all the big dog chums have passed away over the years and all my pals are of an age that they won't be getting other dogs. So this is now free to a good home. When bought it just had 2 bowls with it but I've added another 4 to the mix. Info on the item below. Looking for someone to come and collect. I can leave them hidden at front of house should I not be about when you want to collect. Info on stand and bowls as follows: Perfect for large breed dogs and senior dogs. The stand is fully adjustable and allows you to raise the bowl to a comfortable height. Larger dogs or those suffering with painful joints and discs will appreciate the raised height when eating and drinking. Perfect for dogs with long ears as the raised bowl means that your dog does not have to dip its head towards the bowl, and its ears do not fall into the food. The correct feeding bowl height helps to prevent your dog from gobbling and getting hiccups and it is great for puppies as it can be adjusted to a suitable height when your dog is very little and then "grow" with your dog, so that the correct height is always maintained. Six stainless steel bowls in total. Once bowls are fitted there is the option to lock them in place as that sometimes reduces rattle. The H-shaped base makes it stable and strong enough to withstand even the most boisterous eating manners! It won't wobble around because it has individually adjustable plastic feet which level out uneven floors. The stainless steel bowls are dishwasher safe and easy to keep clean and hygienic. The stand is already assembled. To adjust, use a ring spanner. Free: Sankey Water Butt Water Barrel Stand (Clarkston G76) Gifted IMPORTANT: Only available for collection. Read details to check if the item would suit you and could be safely carried or put inside your vehicle, on your roof rack or in your trailer. If interested, please state preferred days and times to collect. Failure to collect on mutually agreed day may result in the item being promised to another Freegler. DETAILS: A water butt stand made by UK maker Sankey that had been of use until our big water butt split! So now have two small water butts with their own stands so this is surplus. It's black. The dimensions on it state that it's 21 inches by 12 inches (or 53cm by 30cm). The height of 30cm it means that the tap on the butt should be high enough off the ground that you'd be able to put a watering can under it. The diameter of 53cm is that of the base of the stand, NOT the diameter of the top of it. The top of the stand is designed with "steps" so that a variety of sizes of butt can sit snugly on it. The diameter of the innermost top section is 38cm - a butt with a base diameter of 37 to 38cm should sit nicely here. The diameter of the next section is roughly 43cm - a butt with a base diameter over 38cm, up to 43cm should here. The top section, before the outer rim, is 43 to 46cm - a butt with base diameter over 43cm up to 46cm goes here. It has been kept outside but is in a solid and pretty clean condition and is not brittle or cracked. It should suit most standard water butts of 120 litres up to 250 litres BUT do check that the diameter of the very bottom of your butt/barrel is no more than 46cm and no less than 37cm or it won't fit well on this base. If your water butt/water barrel stand is looking a bit sad or cracked now, maybe this could be good for you. Happy for someone to come here and take this way. Better for it to be used than discarded. If you're looking for compost bins please look at my other listing.

Free: HOTBIN MK 2, 200 litre, compost bin (Clarkston G76) Gifted To give everyone a chance of getting to see this, the earliest I'll make a decision on who this will go to will be on Friday 25th April after 8pm. This is for collection only from Clarkston in East Renfrewshire. Do read all the details to be sure this will suit you. In registering your interest please indicate what days and times, from Saturday 26th April onwards, you'd plan to uplift from here. This is MK2 HOTBIN 200 litre composter which was bought without the optional plinth. It has not been a success for us as we don't have enough throughput. Needs right mix of content for success. A shame as it was not cheap! Could be handy on an allotment. It has seen little use and has been drained and cleaned out. Only thing you might consider getting are a replacement odour filter (£15 from HOTBIN) and possibly a HOTBIN plinth for the 200 litre composter (£40 from HOTBIN). A plinth is a good idea as it means you can easily drain off the compost "juice" to use as fertiliser BUT you could always fashion a plinth from bricks, blocks, slabs or the like. The HOTBIN comes with: Two thermometers to monitor temperature An airtight lid Odour filter (this needs replacing) to reduce smells associated with attracting vermin and flies 50mm thick insulating walls to lock in the heat Aeration base plate to disperse air within the bin Removable front hatch to access ready compost Two cam strap(s) Kick start bottle (to keep HOTBIN working in winter) Raking stick (not the original but a replacement. The original raking stick was basically the handle for a small paint roller) I no longer have all the user manuals but they can be printed off from the HOTBIN website: What HotBin has to say about this: "The new and improved HOTBIN 200 is no ordinary compost bin. It HOT composts all year to RECYCLE your food and garden waste into RICH compost fast. Expect compost every 90 days without forking, tumbling, undue odour or flies. Household Size: Designed for an average 3-5 person household with a small/medium garden. Need any Woodchip? HOTBIN requires the addition of brown woody material such as hard woody prunings or woodchip to help aerate the composting process. Minimum weekly waste to stay hot 5kg or 10ltrs = 2 small kitchen caddy Assembly: None required Capacity: Approx. 200 litres Weight: 6kg (unboxed) Size: 115 x 55 x 55cm (45x22x22 inches)" Might be handy to have a look at my post of an ALKO shredder as that might help you create your woody stuff for your composter.

Riogoo heating mat with digital thermometer, 2 mini propagators and a variety of plastic plant pots for bringing on seedlings. Handy for allotments or for greenhouse at home. Heating mat does work, was used when I was trying - unsuccessfully - to grow oyster mushrooms. My place not dark enough and not warm enough. Gone are the days of the handy airing cupboard with a hot water cylinder within!

Free: Raised Bed build your own parts - Link-a-Bord (Clarkston G76) Gifted To give everyone a chance of getting to see this, the earliest I'll make a decision on who this will go to will be on Friday 25th April after 8pm. These are for collection only from Clarkston in East Renfrewshire, and I'm looking for all of the items in this post to go to one freegler. Do read all the details to be sure these will suit you. In registering your interest please indicate what days and times, from Saturday 26th April onwards, you'd plan to uplift from here. Best for someone with an allotment or a large garden, or for someone to share out to fellow allotment plot holders. Can make several raised planters with these from 15cm tall to 45cm tall. 50cm square, 100cm square, 100cm by 50cm and various other options available with the range of components listed. These are Link-a-Bord components, designed to create raised beds from 15cm to 45cm high. See the website - / They have been unused from new and have been kept in a shed for some years. About 4 of the 100cm boards are slightly bowed but could still form roughly a 1m square by 15cm high planter. The remaining 1m and 50cm boards could be used to create taller or longer planters - for long and high raised planters Link-a-Bord do suggest using a stretcher kit (that's basically two sets of board connectors with an extra hole in that a bracing rod is attached to and link pins put in place). corner and straight links are required to connect each board and two long dowels drive through all the way into the ground. See the website for instructions. The parts consist of: 18 x green 100cm long by 15cm high boards (4 of these slightly bowed) 6 x green 50cm long by 15cm high boards 20 x green corner links 12 x straight links 14 x straight links with hole to connect bracing rod and pin - can still be used as a regular straight link if required. 20 x 100cm dowels (cream and black) 14 x 45 to 50cm dowels (cream and black) 20 x 30cm dowels (cream) 5 x 50cm width bracing rods 2 x 100cm bracing rods 14 x bracing pins (12 with caps) - basically very short dowels.

Free: Blackwall 330 litre Compost Bins and base plates (Clarkston G76) Gifted IMPORTANT: Only available for collection. Read details to check if item/s would suit you and be suitable for you to carry or safely fit inside your vehicle, on your roof rack or in your trailer. Please provide days and times you'd be free to collect. Failure to arrive on the mutually agreed collection day may result in the item/s being promised to another Freegler. DETAILS: I have two compost bins with optional base plates for placing on hard surfaces. I bought these from EvenGreener some years ago and they have not been used for some years. They are in "clean" condition apart from the odd cobweb, wee bit of dirt, some dust and some splashes of fence paint on the top of one lid. The lids, base plates and hatches all in working order. Can be given a brush over, rinse, before someone picks them up. Have a look at the EvenGreener website as there are useful links about composting. Here's a bit about them from the Even Greener website: "Transform your kitchen and garden waste into nutritious, valuable feed to enrich your soil and nurture your garden with the UK's best selling compost bin. The Blackwall 330 Litre Black Compost Converter is expertly designed to provide a secure environment for your compost to thrive in, retaining heat to encourage moisture and produce a healthy mixture of microorganisms within the compost bin. Manufactured in the UK from recyclable plastic with a *5-year guarantee, the composter is available in two different sizes; the compact 220 and the larger *330 litres, and is UV stabilised to prevent any degradation." NB: *My bins are the 330 litre capacity and the warranty is no longer valid. but they are in great shape - not cracked or brittle, in full working order and ready to continue on for many years to come. Size of main bin before adding base and lid - 100cm tall, 80cm diameter base. Add 15cm to 20cm once base and lid added. Each bin new would be around £55 to £65 and an additional £20 to £25 for a base plate. Rather than try and sell on Gumtree or eBay I would rather someone who likes to recycle, grow and compost, to get one or both of these free - so long as they're happy to come to me and uplift at their own expense. I also have a water butt stand I've listed separately - no longer have the big water butt as it split and now have two small ones - it needs a new home. It might be suitable for you too.
