Free: Air Fryer - Spence Gifted We bought this Air Fryer at a garage sale and it works well. So well in fact, that we bought an even better Air Fryer and so this one is available to someone who will make good use of it. It is a Smith+Noble brand, Model AF750W, power 1300 Watts. Free: Medical oxygen tubing, with connectors still in sealed packages - Spence Gifted During a cleanup I came across ten (10) packets, unused still in their sealed packets , of "S ALTER Labs Nasal canula with 2.1 m supply tube " and one (1) of "Oxygen tubing with two standard connectors (6 mm)". These came with the oxygen bottle and kit used by my mother when she stayed with us, until she " moved on " just shy of 100 years old. If they can be of any use to anyone for the same purpose, or some other application for these 6 mm outside diameter transparent tubes, you are welcome to them. Jim Spence

Free: Two Apple/Mac Cinema Displays - Spence Gifted I am about to dispose of TWO old 27 inch Apple/Mac Cinema Displays : (1) Type A1316, vintage 2010-2011, Mini Display Port connector, 2560 x 1440 resolution. (2) Type A1407, vintage 2011-2016, Thunderbolt connector, 2560 x 1440 resolution. I can’t get them working with my (2019) iMac computer, but they used to wor well with an older (2013) iMac computer. If anyone knows enough about Mac computers & Apple Cinema displays, they are welcome to give them a go, but no guarantees. Otherwise they will be responsibly recycled within the next week or so. Free: Large Cuddly Dog toy - Spence A very cuddly alternative to a real dog. This one, about 70 cm long, was given to me by my daughter-in-law to compensate for the passing of a real live pet. However, both my grandchildren and I have out-grown it and it is time to move it on. It is clean and doesn't require feeding, grooming or walking :-) Jim Spence

Free: Washing Machine - Spence Gifted My daughter is in the process of upgrading her washing machine and the old one will be taken away when the new one is delivered in the next week or maybe even less. If you are quick, it is available for collection. * It is a genuine New Zealand made Fisher Paykel, 5 Kg machine and despite its age it is still working OK. Perfect for someone in an urgent situation. * It is not too big or heavy, but a ute, trailer or van would be needed. Free: Older "Hands Free" Bluetooth device for mobile phone - Spence Expired Supertooth "BlueAnt" Model BTSVBC3 device, with charger & instructions, that gives hands free connection to your mobile phone (e.g. in your car that doesn't have this feature). It is in good condition, but itis 10 years or more old, so will only work with (presumably older) phones that can handle the earlier versions of Bluetooth. Free: Window shutters - Spence Expired We have replaced our adjustable PVC(?) window shutters with double glazing. I have since re-used some of the shutters as adjustable protection for the vegie patch (heat, hail, frost etc) and also, with some cutting and reassembling, as shutters for my workshop windows. But I still have some complete shutters, with the frames for anyone who may wish to do similar things, or may have even better ideas. First picture below is of the available frames; the second picture is of leftover components also available and the subsequent pictures are examples of how I have used them, to get you to think about how you might use them. Free: Child's Car seat in good condition - Spence Expired Since it seems no-one is interested in the child's car seat I posted recently, can anyone advise how it can be disposed, preferably to an organisation that would re-use it? P.S. Someone sneakily put one in our daughter's recycle bin, but I very much doubt that is appropriate :-)

Free: Child's Car seat in good condition - Spence Expired Our grandchildren are now tall enough not to need this "BRITAX" brand car seat that we bought for occasional use when grandchild minding. It was seldom used and is in good condition. The arm rssts can be folded back out of the way and it even has two retractabl cup/bottle holders! Free: Pink Geranium (whole plant or cuttings) - Spence Expired Pink Geranium plant (see photo below). Dug out this morning as part of a major garden makeover. Can be planted as is, divided, or cuttings taken. These plants grow easily with minimal care and we already have plenty. Help yourself at 25 Boote St Spence (near the letterbox). Free: Adjustable "Kneeler" chair - Spence Expired My knees are way past using this chair, but it was very comfortable in the past and promoted good posture. It is on wheels for easy mobility and folds flat for convenient storage. It is sturdy can be used as is, but replacing the upholstery would be an easy task on this simple piece of furniture. Free: Child's folding camp chair - Spence Gifted Small folding camp chair for a young child. Now too small for any of our grown up grandchildren. Seat height is about 30 cm and the height to the top of the back of the chair is about 50 cm. See photo below. Cheers Jim Spence

Free: Adjustable computer desk - Spence Expired The computer desk shown in the two photos below is no longer needed but is in good condition. The keyboard platform has adjustable height, the two side "tables" fold down if/when not needed and the two upper shelves can be re-positioned if needed. It is on castor wheels so can easily be moved around. It gives a lot of usable surface area in a compact package. Another Computer desk will probably be available soon (watch this space), but it is a different design. Jim Spence

Free: Mains powered computer speakers - Spence Gifted The speakers shown below have are mains (240v) powered, *not USB* and have a 2 mm output plug (as also seen in the photo below) for the computer or other suitable device. They also have their own volume control. They have been sitting on my shelf for a couple of years but were working well when last used. Can be left out for easy collection by a reliable Freecycler. See the previous posting for the pictures. --------------------------------------------------------- Since my first post about this Breville kitchen "Whiz Professional", I have found the original accessories which have never been used (as shown in the picture below). Free: Breville Whizz food chopper/mixer (no blade) - Spence Gifted This Breville Kitchen chopper/mixer still runs well with its powerful 900 watt motor, but the blade (also pictured below) *is not included* because it has started to shed bits of plastic into the food. I doubt a replacement blade would be available as the device is probably about 10 years old, but it might be useful if the other parts are needed by someone. Alternatively, he base with its powerful motor might be adapted by some clever Freecycler for a totally different use. I don't know how to otherwise responsibly dispose of it. Jim Spence

Request: gal pipe clamps (60 mm outside diameter) - Spence Expired I am constructing a shelter for my vegetable garden using some 60 mm (2 inch) outside diameter galvanized pipe (probably vastly over engineered, but that is what I have. But to join them together I need some matching clamps, either four of the right angle type shown below, or 8 of the "T" shaped ones. But "beggars can't be choosers", so I will take what I can get if you have something, provided it will fit the 60 mm (2 inch) outside diameter pipe I already have. . Thanks Jim Spence

Free: Decorative glass panel from beside front door (door not included) - Spence Expired The decorative glass panel shown in the picture below was just removed this morning from beside our front door and is still in good condition, so it would be a shame for it to go to the tip. *379 mm wide, 1910 mm high and about 6 mm thick*. It has a pleasant pattern and a slightly "pinkish"(?) tinge It is of course very fragile, so will need very careful transport using a suitably sized vehicle. I can wrap it as best I can in cardboard. As always, reliable pickup is much appreciated, and particularly asap in this case, as the longer it stays here, the more likely it will get broken. Jim Spence

Free: Hand Drills -Spence Gifted The slow and gradual shed clean up continues. Two "Old School" tools. No batteries or power leads needed. As shown in the picture below. Free: Old Dick Smith analog multimeter = Spence Expired A VERY old Dick Smith analog multimeter (NOT DIGITAL, it has a dial withe a needle) complete with cable probes.
