Free: Expandable hose (Greenhill S8) Good condition overall but has developed a pinhole leak round about the middle of the hose. Has the attachment at one end for a tap but the other end doesn't like fastening on to a spray and keeps blowing it off - I do have a potential new connection for this, if only I could figure out how to take the old one off and put the new one on. Now it has developed the leak, have just thrown my hands up in despair and bought a new hose. Other than these little irritations, it's absolutely fine - hope it will be of use to someone as only bought last year. Will be around today and tomorrow or can leave it somewhere to be picked up. Please do not ask if you have no intention of turning up - I've had too many of these in the past. If you don't turn up when arranged, then I will simply move on to the net person. This needs to be gone today or tomorrow so will not keep it until you have time to turn up. If no interest, sadly, will take it to landfill.

Free: Roller blinds, curtain rods and poles (Greenhill S8) Selection of roller blinds, curtain rods and a brass curtain pole with finials. All new (as far as I know (not vouching for the pole as that was a husband purchase and could have come off eBay). None ever fitted as was too complex to work out how to fit to a window recess with a concrete lintel. All to go together, whatever you can't or don't want to use, you can put back on Freecycle. Again, collection is before Thursday, if you don't turn up when arranged, I will simply offer to the next person on the list. Will not 'keep' these until you have time to collect, they will simply go to the next person or landfill. Need rid asap as selling house.

Free: IKEA shelves - KOMPLEMENT (Greenhill S8) New - never used and still in plastic wrapping with all fastenings intact. Bought for a single PAX wardrobe but ended up getting oak ones instead. Could be cut to size to fit any cupboard, I would think. Need gone asap but certainly by Thursday morning. Please only ask if you intend to turn up. Any responses that simply say 'Can I have ......' will simply be deleted - at least make an effort to tell me why you want them.

Free: Original X-Box + games (Greenhill S8) Gifted This is an original X-Box which has been stored for quite a while. I am saying it will be for SPARES OR REPAIR as the power light comes on but flashes orange. The CD drawer goes in and out and the CD sounds as though it spins but haven't tried to see if it works properly. Offering it for free along with a stack of games and 2 generic controllers. If anyone wants to have a go at repairing it that's fine but would love it if it could be repaired for a child or children to use. Again, the hard bit. Won't consider anyone who just responds with 'Can I have it' or Can I be considered' - your response will just be deleted. At least make the effort to give a reason as to why you want it and what you will do with it. May be able to deliver if you are on my route from home to work - S8 to NGH.

Free: Brand new Swan kettle (Greenhill S8) Gifted Bought as a package with a toaster. Toaster is fine but kettle is wrong colour for kitchen and can't get on with it. Now the hard bit - please don't message and simply say 'Can I have it' or assume because you have responded that you will automatically be offered it. Also, if you are offered it and don't turn up as arranged, it will be immediately offered to the next person on the list. I'm sorry to have to say this but like many Freeglers, we have a lot of our time wasted by people not turning up or making excuses to postpone picking up.

Free: Yamaha mini stereo (Greenhill S8) Expired Yamaha mini stereo in piano black. Bought off eBay about 3 years ago with the intention of setting it up in the room so that I could play CD accompaniments for my flute. Never got round to setting it up although it definitely worked when I collected it and still lights up the displays when I plugged it all in. I now have an Echo Show thing which means I can individually select the accompaniment that I need so this is surplus to requirements. Beautifully crafted and like the one I already have in the lounge. Comes with a remote control which was bought separately to the stereo - tested this with my other Yamaha rig and it worked fine. Unit consists of CD player and tuner and 2 speakers. I answered a post on here from someone asking for a mini stereo and offered it to them but they responded and asked where to pick up from but then never came back. So, sadly, if whoever is offered it doesn't turn up as arranged, I will simply offer it on to the next person.

Free: Panasonic breadmaker (Greenhill S8) Gifted Roughly 12 years old. Starting to be slightly temperamental but makes 9 out 10 loaves absolutely fine then the 10th one might turn out almost flat. Have treated myself to a new one but seems a shame to skip this one as it is still mainly OK. Will come just with the breadmaker, pan and paddle (my new one hasn't come with the rye bread paddle so am keeping that one). Again, sadly if you don't turn up when arranged, I will simply offer it on to the next person. I have posted quite a few items over the last few weeks and had a couple of items that people just didn't bother showing up. May deliver if you are on my way to or from work - S8-NGH.

Free: CPAP mask and tube steriliser (Greenhill S8) Gifted This was used twice for my husband's masks and tubes but sadly, it outlasted him. It is a specialised piece of equipment and is solely used for sterilising the masks and tubes for a CPAP or BIPAP machine used in chronic sleep apnoae. Please don't bother asking for it if you are thinking of selling it on, I have tried selling it myself as it is like new and nobody wanted it. It is specialised and only people who use one of these pressurised breathing machines will be able to make use of it.

Free: Billy CD racks (Greenhill S8) Gifted 2 oak CD racks free to good home. Bought 4 years ago for brain injured husband to practise is DIY skills. He made a good job and they have stood in his bedroom ever since. Now they need to go. Sadly, please don't respond with 'Can I have them' as I will not even consider you. Unfortunately, people who respond like this are often the ones that don't turn up when offered something and I have had enough of my time wasted over the last 10 days. I am clearing out a huge house ready to move so don't have time to waste. If you don't come when you promise, I will offer them to someone else.

Free: Sony Smart Engine video player/recorder (Greenhill S8) Gifted Obviously not new - lol. Don't have a video tape to test it. Was in my late husband's bedroom for years unused. Don't have the remote for it but the buttons on the front have all the functions and I also think it is possible to use a Universal remote. Sadly please don't respond with 'Can I have it' as I will not consider you. Unfortunately it appears to be people that do this as soon as they see something who then don't don't turn up when offered an item. I am clearing out a huge house and will be putting more and more stuff on Freecycle because it is too good to go into the skip outside.

Free: Large box of Xmas decorations (Greenhill S8) Gifted Found whilst clearing my house for moving. We don't really celebrate Christmas in the UK now since my husband and son died so these are definitely surplus to requirements. Have been stored in the attic for the last 3 years so box is dusty but contents are all good. No really any Christmas tree baubles, more candles, candle decorations, etc. Sadly, I will not consider anyone that simply says 'Can I have them' as I have posted quite a few items recently and the people that simply say this are inevitably the ones that don't show up when offered something. So, very sorry but if this is all you respond with, you will not be considered as I have had a lot of time wasted over the last 2 weeks with people not turning up.

Free: Steam iron with tank (Greenhill S8) Gifted Bought about 4 years ago but only used twice. I don't do ironing and now don't buy any clothes that need it. Been sitting in the spare bedroom for the last 3 years. I am assuming it is still in working order as it is like new. Please don't respond if you have no intention of turning up. I have posted a lot of things in the last week or so and will be posting a lot more. Sadly, those people that immediately respond with 'Can I have this' will not be considered as they tend to be the worst offenders for not showing up.

Free: Large Tesco hessian bag of childrens books (Greenhill S8) Expired These are books that are good quality and hugely entertaining for ages 6-11. Many great authors like Colin Thompson, Anthony Brown, etc. I used these books when I was teaching for Literacy Hour (as it was then). My own grandsons have now grown out of Grandma's magic bag which always travelled with me when I visited them They are now 16 and 14 and have outgrown them (though they still delight in looking through them and remembering being read the stories). Come complete with the bag - lol.

Free: Polaroid iPod/Radio/Alarm (Greenhill S8) Gifted This is the last chance for this poor little item. Three no shows and am now really fed up and frustrated of offering it and no-one turning up. It is stood in my hall in a carrier bag awaiting it's fate. The next no show I have it will go in the skip outside the house, which is a real shame as it is a lovely little unit with good sound quality. IT DOESN'T HAVE BLUETOOTH FACILITY - which is the only reason I am getting rid as I now have one that does.. Remote control did work last time it was used ( a couple of weeks ago) as I checked it to make sure everything was working. However, for some reason, it has stopped functioning - not sure if this is just a simple flat battery but unit can be controlled for major functions from the buttons on the top. Please do not ask for this on impulse as I have had enough time wasted for me when I could be doing something more important but have waited in for non-existent people.

Free: Stagg guitar and carry case (Greenhill S8) Gifted Posting this on behalf of my daughter. She bought it years ago with the dream of being a brilliant guitarist - it didn't happen!!! She just couldn't get on with playing a guitar so turned to the piano and drums instead. Lovely guitar to look at with good sound. Comes with carry case and some accessories (like Guitar for Dummies - lol). Nice beginners instrument or for a musician wanting to learn a second instrument. Full size so not suitable for children. I will be looking closely at responses and will delete any that simply say 'Can I have it' as that is just rude. And please accept that just because you have responded this does not give you an automatic right to demand my address or assume that you are going to be offered it. That is just not how Freegle works. It's not first come, first served and I am expecting this to get a lot of interest.

Free: Asus netbook (Greenhill S8) Gifted Found in the back of a cupboard so hasn't seen light of day since about 2013. Starts up, has Windows 7 installed, 1gb of RAM but is far too slow for me. Comes with power unit, spare unused new battery, cooling tray (tried this and there is only one side working) and carry case. Would probably suit someone who has IT tech knowledge as I know very little about it, other than I bought it but couldn't get on with it - hence being consigned to the back of a cupboard. Not worth selling as only going for about £30 on eBay and not worth the effort. Never caught on as soon overtaken by iPhones and iPads.

Free: Polaroid Radio/Alarm iPod dock (Greenhill S8) Expired Lovely little unit with good quality sound for its size. Will take iPod with 30 pin socket and also iPhone with lightning socket as there is an adapter that I bought. IT ISN'T BLUETOOTH!! So I have invested in another one for my bedroom that is bluetooth. The remote was working but I have just tried it out and it doesn't seem to be responding. It could just be a battery problem but not technically minded so don't know for sure. The unit can be controlled by the buttons on the top of the unit itself. Again the harsh bit - if you are offered it and don't respond within 24 hours or don't turn up as agreed, then I will simply offer it to the next on the list. Like many Freeglers, it is frustrating when you wait in for someone to turn up and then they don't!!

Free: Cole and Mason spinning spice rack (Greenhill S8) Expired What can I say - works like a Lazy Susan. All been cleaned and jars have ben through the dish washer so ready to use. Would give the tops a chance to dry as they have been hand washed and are difficult to dry. Now the harsh bit - if you don't come when arranged, I will offer it to the next on the list. Like many Freeglers, people that ask for items on impulse and then simply don't turn up completely frustrate us.

Free: Nice quality Christmas cards (Greenhill S8) Gifted Don't send Christmas cards any more as daughter and I run away to South of France after the death of my husband nearly 3 years ago. Will throw in the storage box as well. Now the harsh bit - if you don't turn up as arranged, then will offer the item to the next on the list. Like lots of Freeglers, we get tired of people impulsively asking for things then changing their minds and not turning up.

Free: Lovely chair (Greenhill S8) Gifted Lovely chair in a minky brown colour. The front of the chair cushion looks worn but this is just the way the light has caught it. You will need a reasonable sized car or van to collect as it is quite large. Now the harsh bit - if you are offered this and don't turn up when agreed, then I will offer it on to the next person on the list. Sorry to have to say this but like a lot of Freeglers we get tired of waiting in for people that don't turn up.

Free: Lowepro camera case (Greenhill S8) Gifted This is a fairly old case but is still in immaculate condition apart from the centre panel on the flap. This was made of some kind of suede material (not genuine) which has peeled off over the years. The rest of the case is in mint condition. I used this for my Sony DSLR camera which is probably on the smaller size for one of these cameras. The centre piece is removable if you wanted to put a bigger camera in as it attaches with velcro. Far to good to skip so hope it finds a good home on here. Again, the harsh bit - if you don't turn up when you arrange to, then it will be immediately offered to the next person on the list. Like lots of Freeglers we get impulsive people who then reconsider and don't bother telling you.

Free: 2 x aluminium ramps (Greenhill S8) Gifted Used about half a dozen times for getting my husband's wheelchair into his downstairs room and ambulance trolleys in and out of his room when needed. They are designed to go on either side of a doorway threshold but could be used for other situations as well. Non-slip surface and also carry handles to make it easier to manoeuvre them. Now the harsh bit. I don't want to skip these as they are like new but am not prepared to let them go to someone who won't use them and will sell them on. These are well made and top of the range ramps - I could sell them myself but want to give them to someone or a charity who knows someone who really needs them. If you are promised them and don't turn up at the time arranged then I will immediately contact the next on the list.

Free: Leica slide projector and screen (Greenhill S8) Gifted Found when clearing out my late husband's wardrobe. Have no idea if the projector works but the screen can be wall mounted. Even if the projector doesn't work, at least it has cost nothing. Now the harsh bit. I am pretty tired of offering good quality items to be messed about by people who accept it and then don't bother turning up. Free: Paint (Greenhill S8) Gifted Neither was the colour I needed for bathroom. Homebase one has been opened and a small amount of paint removed but basically almost a full 2.5 litre tin. The Dulux one is bathroom or kitchen paint and is unopened. Now the harsh bit - if you are offered this item and don't turn up when you have arranged to, then I will immediately offer it to the next on the list. Sorry, but am tired of people not turning up. Free: Electronic/Midi keyboard (Greenhill S8) Gifted Excellent working condition - comes with power pack and will also chuck in the cable we purchased to turn it into a midi keyboard to run it through a computer. It is fairly old but works amazingly well. Now the harsh bit - like lots of Freeglers, I am tired of people who get offered good quality items but then don't turn up to collect them at the arranged time. If this happens, I will immediately offer it to the next on the list. Also, I don't respond to any messages that simply say 'Can I have it' or assume because they have responded that the item is theirs. Freegle doesn't work like that. Hopefully this item will find a good home with someone that will appreciate it - it is not your simple keyboard, it is probably better suited to someone who has some experience of them and will make full use of all it's features.

Free: Polaroid iPod dock/radio/alarm (Greenhill S8) Expired Lovely little machine - comes with lightning adaptor for iPhone, remote control and instruction book. Good quality sound and all working. Only getting rid as have upgraded to a dock that has Bluetooth. Please tell me how you will use this and where. I don't respond to anyone that simply says 'Can I have it'. If you are offered it, then if you are a no-show, I will immediately offer it to the next person on the list. Maybe I sound harsh but I have offered a lot of good stuff on Freecycle only for people not to turn up without reason or give me a reason that means I have to hang on to the item for days for them still not to turn up.
