3 x Boxes for moving (made up) (Monks Hill CR2)
There are three good moving boxes, which were originally once I used when I moved and also have been storing things in (now emptied!). They are good quality and made up already, which is better than having to dismantle them, as it keeps them stronger. There is a cubic shaped one, which is 12” cubes and holds up to 15kg. A larger one, approx 13” x17.5”, holds 20kg and a large flat one, suitable for a jacket, suit etc. it seems such a shame to throw this away when they are not easy to obtain without spending money. I would like them gone very soon however, if I have no interest, reluctantly they will have to go into the recycling! Please let me know when you could come to collect. Thank you.

Large decorator’s sheet, never used. (Monks Hill CR2)
It’s very big but I can’t measure it. Folded it measures 12” x 14” and you can check approximately how many folds via the photo. I would like it gone soon but if several replies, I will take a little time in order to give people a chance. Thank you. Please be reliable if interested.

Phone charger cable for spares or repairs (Monks Hill CR2)
Before I dump this, does anyone have a use for this cable? It’s a charger cable for my iPhone, it doesn’t work. I don’t know if there’s any salvage you can get from it or bits to re-use but I hate throwing stuff away if it can be recycled somehow. Preferably collect today but let me know if you have a day and time in mind. Please be reliable! Thank you.

Crochet project (with mistakes) to finish off (Monks Hill CR2)
When I was first learning to crochet, I started making this hat: it does have faults, but I had put it aside and forgotten about it. I’m better at crochet now, however because of being in pain, I would rather somebody else finish it off and could then donate it, maybe to a person or to a charity shop. All you have to do is cover up the mistakes with some beads, flowers or other embellishments. That should be enough yarn in the ball to do this, it is Stylecraft in “Cloud Blue” and I was using 5mm and 5.5mm hooks. Hooks are not included. I do not want this to go to somebody who will just rip it apart, just to get some free yarn!! if you can rescue the project and do something valuable with it, please tell me when you could collect. If I get no sensible replies, I will keep this and get back to doing the finishing touches, so that I can donate the article. Let me know what you think.

I assume this is what it is. I unearthed this after a clear out, it is in good condition. I don’t know what you call this, I assume you use it to dip in and strain stuff cooked in liquid. I have never used it for that and unlikely to as I don’t have a hob. I was using these for display for my stall, I’m not currently using them and I have enough lighting in any case. So I would like these ones to go to new homes. They are used but in good condition and fully working – I don’t know if you can still get bulbs for them but I would imagine you can. Please tell me which one you want and why you want it. This folds flattish and then can open out to make a storage container. It’s not particularly robust but would be good for tidying soft toys, yarn or something not overly heavy. It has a pleasant basket-weave finish and measures 21cm x 29cm and 15cm high. If you would like it, please tell me when you would like to collect. Sunday morning, not too early, would be good. I am trying to clear my craft room, reluctantly trimming down on stuff I haven’t used, even though I have been storing things for potential use. So this is your chance to be creative and obtain something you can enjoy using for your own craft projects. This is a tube of glue made by Hemline, for use with fabrics. It has an ultra-fine nozzle, so great for precision work, like appliqué, attachment ng gems. etc. This is unopened. It has been stored for some time but looks fine. Please tell me why you would like it and give me a day and time when you can collect. If I get a lot of interest, I will wait a while to give people a chance. Thank you.

This is a gorgeous and luxury dry oil. It has golden specks in it, giving the skin a radiant shimmer. The bottle is a bit dusty on top, as I have had this for quite some time but have only ever used a little of it. It is expensive to buy (over £20) so worth having if you would use it. This is a nice sturdy box which contained a perfume set, it is too nice to just get rid of, if somebody could use it to put bits and pieces in. It measures 8” x 8” and 3” high and it smells nice! I need brighter lights so rather than keep these “just in case”, I would rather they go to someone who can make use of them now. Reposting! Surely someone would like some fabric to make something? Clearing my craft room! Here are two nice pieces of fabric, the large pink one I believe is cotton sheeting. It measures 40ins x 40ins approx. and has a small piece about 6ins square cut out of one corner. It has been laundered. The other piece I believe is hand-dyed (tie-dyed or similar) and I think it is cotton. I can’t remember whether it was laundered recently or not, but it is a beautiful design with lovely colours and far too good to waste. It measures about 21ins x 19ins. If you do dressmaking, quilting, patchwork, or other handicrafts, I’m sure you can make very good use of this. Please let me know why you want it and when you could come, we can agree on a time if you get in touch. They must go as one lot. Please make a suggestion as to when you could collect, we will agree on it and be reliable!

From my kitchen clearout. As far as I can tell, this has not been used. It belonged to a carnivore who lived here before moving out and I neither roast nor eat meat, so I don’t need it. Faulty “Dopener” tin opener, still does ring pulls - pl read (Monks Hill CR2)

This does not work as a tin opener, it was identified by the manufacturers as one of a faulty batch. They have kindly sent me a new one, but rather than send this to land fill, I will offer it first. I can assure you, you will not be able to open cans with it. However, it also deals efficiently with ring pull cans. I use this feature of it with ease and it eliminates that situation where the lid bends, snaps off or the irregular movement of it throws the contents of the tin everywhere! Or worse, causes injury. So in that respect, it seems a shame to throw such a useful tool away. It also had a handy little doodah for loosening jam jar lids. So before I dispose of this, would anyone like to collect? Please give me a day and suggested time and we can liaise for you to come and rescue it from a fate at the tip!

Here are some empty glass jars. Two single glass jars and a set of three empty jars that originally held chutneys from “Fruity Friends“. They came in a little gift package, which is just too pretty too dispose of! I have washed them out but you will need to sterilise them if using for food stuffs. I find that items like this work beautifully for craft items, such as beads, or haberdashery items like buttons and pins, etc. They must go all together. Before they go to the dump, are these any use to anyone? They were working before, but the central knob I think is broken. You can't adjust the gap between the blades and the action is loose. So in their present condition, they do not cut. Maybe you're a workshop expert and can repurpose them or do something else with them? These are clear cellophane (or similar) bags to protect and display handmade items or can also be used to store documents. Most are self-seal and are large, about A4 size or maybe a bit larger. They are as new, clean, never been used. I was using them when I was making cards, artwork and tee shirts. I can’t get anywhere to display or sell stuff, but you might have a use for them. Protective waterproof cover thingies for bathing (Monks Hill CR2)

I’m sure these have a technical name, but I don’t know what it is! They are waterproof elasticated covers for protecting any part of you that might need to be kept dry whilst bathing. For instance, a shower cap - and there must be some other bits of you that need protecting if you’ve had an injury or have a dressing on. I haven’t opened this or looked at them closely, I don’t need them. Can you make use of them, or do I have to throw them away? Let me know if there are of any use.

It will be barbecue season in a while! I’m having a clear out and found this, it has been stored for quite some time but has never been used. You open it up and sandwich the fish in it and stick it on the barbecue. I don’t need it, as I’m vegetarian and I don’t even have a barbecue! It belonged to a family member who moved out and I guess it never got used. A label was still on it (which fell off when I photographed it). I will wait awhile to see who shows an interest as I am anticipating a few requests. Responders who are polite and communicative will be considered. Thank you.

As you can see from the photographs, this was not a cheap storage box. There is nothing wrong with it, it is in quite good condition and is clean inside. There is some fading on the top surface, where it was exposed to light with something else on top of it. It could either be left as it is or maybe stick a nice piece of decorative paper over it. This is approximately 8 inches high, 12.5 inches wide and 15 inches long. It has a nice little brass holder on the side, for you to label what is inside the box. I use this only for storing papers, which I am going through and trimming down on, so I don’t need such large storage now. If you want this, please be polite and informative. Tell me why you want it and when you might be able to come and collect give me contact details and please be reliable! Wednesday is not an easy day for me, but any other suggestion will be considered. Thank you.
