Why does it take so long for the new post digest emails to arrive?
The default new post digest email frequency is once per day to prevent people from getting too many emails. With once per day digest emails, the posts in the email can be up to a day old but you can change the frequency of the emails using the Notifications > New Post Digests section of the Settings page.
