Can I get every post sent by email?
There isn't yet an option to get every post sent by email but you can setup email alerts to get notified about specific posts. You can also change how frequently you receive the digest emails so that you are notified more often about new posts.
How do I change my email address?
You can change your email address on the Settings page.
When you change your email address, a verification email will be sent to your new email address. You will have to click a link in the verification email before your email address will be changed.
If you signed up with an invalid email address, please contact us so that we can fix the email address for you.
How do I change the frequency of the digest emails?
You can change how often you receive the digest emails on the Notifications section of your Profile page.

How do I reply to an email from another member?
You should be able to reply to emails from other members like any other email.
Alternatively, you can use the messages page on the site to view and reply to messages from other members.
How do I stop all the freecycle emails?
If you're receiving emails from Yahoo Groups (and 99% of people who ask this question are), you should switch to trash nothing to use your existing freecycle groups so that you won't be flooded with emails. Just join your local freecycle groups through trash nothing! and unsubscribe from your groups on Yahoo Groups.
Alternatively, if you've decided you want to give up on the whole reuse and free stuff idea, you can just unsubscribe from your groups on Yahoo Groups
For the 1% who aren't receiving emails from Yahoo Groups, you can change your email preferences on the Notifications section of your Profile page.
How do I turn off email alerts?
On the Notifications section of your Profile page, you can view all the active email alerts you have set up. Clicking the "X" icon to the right of an email alert will remove that email alert.
I stopped receiving the digest emails, what happened?
Check that the option to receive digest emails is enabled on your Profile page.
If digests are enabled, then it's likely that your email provider's spam filter is catching the emails. To bypass the spam filter, add email@example.com to your Contacts list.
Why does it take so long for the digest emails to arrive?
The default digest email frequency is once per day because many people don't like getting too many emails. With once per day digests, the posts in the digest can be up to a day old but you can change the frequency of the digest emails at any time on the Notifications section of your Profile page.
