They look ok and were placed ON TOP of trash bags instead of inside them which makes me guess that they work but I can never be sure of the condition since they’re not mine so check them out at your own risk They’ll prob be gone by early morning

Free: Large/life size Dinosaur toy (Midtown East / E 40s) Saw this big lifesized dino behind an apartment trash can. Looks very clean and in good shape but of Course since it’s not mine I cannot make any guarantees. It looks like it may be electronic or battery powered because I saw a Sweat on top. It looks like the child can ride it Located on the north side of 71st right between 1st and york, behind the black dumpster that sits in front of entrance to building

Free: Curb alert: nice furniture (Midtown East / E 40s) Withdrawn Just spotted on a very fancy block - so I assume the stuff is nice (tho of course you can never guarantee the condition of something left outside) a bunch of furniture: one really nice looking wooden painted chest of drawers two other kind of cheapish/normal chest of drawers A leather or pleather love seat multiple laundry baskets beach chairs folding chairs And more will probably be gone by morning trash pickup so come tonight if you want it

Free: STARBUCKS CLOSING AT 80 & 2nd (Upper East Side / UES) Hi! The Starbucks at 80 and 2nd closed yesterday and today they’re emptying the store. They will for sure be tossing bags and bags and bags worth of unused cups, napkins, unexpired food, sealed coffee beans, etc. Whenever Starbucks closes a location the SAY they will transfer their inventory to another store but they almost always toss it in huge clean sealed garbage bags left on the curb. You could supply a soup kitchen for months with what they toss. Please go!

Free: Tons of Tupperwares (midtown east) (Midtown East / E 40s) This is a large collection of those generic Tupperwares that you get when you order high-quality take out – – a.k.a. the ones with the black bottom and the clear top. They are USED ONCE but clean and stacked. Can either be rectangular or round, and in a variety of sizes. I order a lot of takeout so I get like a hundred of these per month. I also have lots of plastic cutlery, condiment packets, mini Tupperwares (like for sauces- tubs with lids), paper lunch bags, and paper handled bags. Free: mini icebox/cooler (Midtown East / E 40s) Expired This is a small ice boxes/coolers, styrofoam they’re the disposable styrofoam kind by ULINE BUT theyre totally effective (they were used to ship a temperature sensitive medication) and reusable. Each one is approx inches 11 L x 9 D x 8 H - including the lid. Free: Adult diaper pads-BUT (Midtown East / E 40s) Expired These are NOT wrapped adult diaper pads, read below for explanation. I am a home health aide. When I am assisting my patient, I take the unused adult diapers he buys and I cut off the top 1/3 of the diaper to make like a large incontinence pad. The leftover piece that I don’t use is essentially a shorter but still large diaper pad (about 12 inches?) that could be used as a smaller absorbent pad, perhaps for animals at a shelter or something similar. This is a variety of ice packs - most are the mini size, around 6 (?) inches, meant to hold against a small wound or bug bite or forehead or whatever- I have about 20 of these . I also have the larger ice packs that are often used in coolers to keep groceries or drinks cool. All reusable- have about 5-15 of these . Free: CURB ALERT: furniture and mirrors (Midtown East / E 40s) Gifted Furniture and like 5 mirrors being donated from a fancy condo on 2nd and 53rd street (SW CORNER). The super from the building who was putting them out said that there was nothing wrong with them - the owner was just upgrading to newer stuff. Free: women’s sweaters sz s & m- w holes (Midtown East / E 40s) Expired This is like 5-10 women’s sweaters, in either wool or cashmere, sizes small & medium, each with like 1-5 small holes throughout each sweater. Moths got into my sweater drawer and ate all summer… I had the sweaters professionally dry cleaned and heated, so there’s no threat of moth eggs or larvae or moths anymore, but the holes remain. If you are good at knitting (not sewing), you would be able to make these look nice! Pickup at either e 49th or noho
