Free: Epson PictureMate 100 photo printer (Broadstone BH18) Withdrawn This does print and the cartridges had ink last time I tried it BUT the Magenta cartridge, although replaced, does not print. It seems most likely that there is a blockage in the actual print head mechanism. I have tried the head cleaning process but that doesn't help. This would only be useful to someone with detailed knowledge of Epson printer internals. Actual printer paper is included.

Free: Humax FreeSat Set Top Box (Broadstone BH18) Gifted We are re-gifting this Satellite TV recorder/tuner as it has served it's purpose after a very kind lady offered it to us on here. It still works fine. It comes complete with power supply and remote control. If you need instructions they are available online, just look for Humax HDR-1100S manual.

Request: Humax HDR-2000T recorder (Broadstone BH18) Received If anyone has an old Humax HDR-2000T which is no longer needed (but still working), it would be really useful, please. Ours went very weird (probably heat stroke) and then stopped working and will no longer power up. We have loads of stuff recorded and the hard disk is still working ok, so I could swap it in and catch up, then probably buy something newer.

Free: Caravan cable ends (Broadstone BH18) Gifted Taken off a 25 metre cable that I plan to use as a garden extension lead. Cable ends are cut off right inside so you can't do yourself any harm with them. If you are electrically minded and want to make up a shorter cable for quick use on site or at home, these will do the job for you.

Free: Bird feeder (Broadstone BH18) Gifted The aluminium coloured upright is just part of the stepladder I hung the feeder on to take a picture. It is basically a square steel grid formed into a shallow tray. There is an additional hanging hook underneath which screws into the centre of the tray. I have two of these to go because if I hang anything from trees in the garden, the squirrels take the lot. They have been well used but have very little rust. There are an additional four uprights and in the past we had hung one of these underneath a sunflower hearts feeder so it would catch what dropped and make additional food available to robins, etc.

Free: Old Windows 7 desktop computer - running Linux (Broadstone BH18) Gifted This is a DELL machine with plenty of life left in it if you are willing to embrace the Linux operating system rather than Windows. I've included other details in the pictures taken from the machine. It is running the latest version - Fedora Linux 44 which is a new clean install. It already has the Firefox internet browser, Thunderbird for emails, plus sufficient parts of free Open Office to be able to write letters, create spreadsheets etc. The machine does not have a WiFi interface, though you could easily install one if you wish. It would need to be connected directly to your router with an Ethernet cable (included) if you want to give it a try. It has a 500GB hard disk and 4GB memory. I will probably hang onto the mouse, keyboard and screen as my current ones are quite ancient. If you want to know more about Linux, see fedoraproject.org for additional information.

Request: Glass shelf for a tall fridge. (Broadstone BH18) Withdrawn We need an additional shelf for a Lamona fridge but apparently they are made by Beko, so many other fridge shelves will probably fit. The ones we have measure 447 mm wide and 308 mm deep. That is slightly over 17.5 inches wide and 12 inches deep. It won't necessarily have exactly the same front and back strips but we can live with that. A couple of shelves would be handy if you have more than one, please. We are in Broadstone but happy to travel in the area to pick up.

Free: Home phone cordless handsets and bases. (Broadstone BH18) Gifted These are all parts of used 'home' phone installations. There are two base stations and five handset charge stations plus five handsets. Not everything works but it should be possible to sort out at list one, maybe two handsets with one of the base stations. Please note that NONE of these are MOBILE phones.I will include a couple of handbooks which we have, these should provide enough info to allow you to set up a base station and register at least one handset to it. Free: Picoboard for Scratch from Maplin. (Broadstone BH18) Expired Scratch is a (free) block programming language for children and I believe it is still being taught in schools. You can download Scratch onto your Windows PC and it is supported in some other environments as well. This package was never opened as Scratch moved on and the Picoboard was no longer supported. Suit a hobbyist or clever child.

Free: Empty screw top ground coffee tins (Broadstone BH18) Expired These are just over 14cm high with a 9cm diameter. I got them with a view to use them helping me sort stuff in my garage. I have almost 50 of them and it seems a waste to crush and recycle them if someone can make good use.

Free: Upright Dyson for spares only (Broadstone BH18) Expired This is a Dyson Light BallTM upright vacuum cleaner, the label says it is a VR6 model. The connection between the brush head and the vacuum has been lost so it will no longer work. It may be useful for spares if you have the same model. It would be worth having just to have a spare canister and extending hose adaptor.

Free: Hewlett Packard HP2130 printer, copier, scanner (Broadstone BH18) Gifted Worked well last time I used it three months ago but it will need a colour and a black cartridge. We have been given a newer model so no longer need this one. It only connects to your computer using a USB cable (supplied) so does not need you to have Wi-Fi. Power supply supplied, downloaded instruction book available if you need it. In Broadstone.

Free: These are for holding home-made flower baskets. (Broadstone BH18) Expired These weird looking objects are for holding home-made flower baskets. The shadows in the pictures don't help! The upside down one, comes apart so you can move the triangular base and then put the basket on top. The other one is for wall hanging and also comes apart for ease of hanging and basket preparation. You make the hanging basket from appropriate material and fill with compost. The advantage over conventional baskets is that you can poke holes through the sides and underneath to push the roots of plants through to increase the overall effect of the planting. Very effective if done properly. In Broadstone.

Free: Cardboard box and/or load of bubble wrap (Broadstone BH18) Gifted Bubble wrap is all in used pieces but there is quite a lot of it if you want it as packing for a house move or for parcel wrapping. Free: USB Modem from THREE (Broadstone BH18) Expired This is a modem intended to function with the "Three" mobile phone network to provide internet services to a device connected using the USB connecting cable. I know it powers up OK when connected to a powered USB port but I've not tested it further than that. There is a "Three" SIM card in the device but that has not been maintained with a contract or PAYG payments so will not be of any use without either being replaced or restarted (if that's possible) with a new agreement. We are in Broadstone.

Request: Kapla blocks (Broadstone BH18) Expired If anyone has any KAPLA blocks which are no longer being used by (grand)children, then I would be pleased to add them to what we already have for our three grandchildren (and me) to play with. Free: AN-WF500 LG TV Wi-Fi/Bluetooth Dongle (Broadstone BH18) Gifted This is a dongle to fit into a USB slot on an LG (only) TV to connect to your Bluetooth or Wi-Fi equipment. The dongle was in a box of charity shop stuff so I have no idea whether it works or not. I've tried connecting it to my laptop and it is recognised but there are no available drivers for it. We are in Broadstone, off Higher Blandford Road.

Free: Artists materials... (Broadstone BH18) Expired Two A1 size cards, one is black on both sides, the other is dark grey and white, the small pictures are labels on these 2 items. Also two pictures of a 'canvas' covered wall hung item which did have attached photos, these have been removed and the surface looks messy, but it would take a base paint and could then be used for painting a landscape etc. It is approximately 24 x 18 inches. We are in Broadstone.
