Organiser for small garage or workshop "stuff", complete. (Broadstone BH18)
Gifted
There are two of these backboards, several plastic containers which hook onto them, and a number of other bits and pieces designed to hang on the back boards. The rest of the set is currently boxed and too much hassle to get out, but it is all there, never used, except for some additional tubs which came from elsewhere but fit the same backboards and are included. We are in North Broadstone.

Free:
Sony VHS (tape) video recorder and remote (Broadstone BH18)
Gifted
This is an old style VHS tape video player/recorder, it has SCART connections and red/white audio output. We can probably provide a SCART lead if you need one. Mains lead and instruction book included. I may also be able to find a spare aerial lead if you need it, but no guarantee. Obviously this won't play CD's or DVD's etc, only VHS tapes. In Broadstone.

Free:
Several small sheets of white Contiplas board (Broadstone BH18)
Withdrawn
Sorry the picture is a bit weird, it is taken from above the edges of the boards. All been stored in a dry garage so no water damage. Sizes are approximate, 4 boards which are 14" x 16", 3 boards which are 14" x 18", 2 boards which are 17" x 18.5". There is another white board but it's not Contiplas, would make a shelf a couple of feet long by about 6" deep. Take one, a bunch, or the lot, just need them gone and it seems a waste to take them to the timber skip. We are in North Broadstone.

Free:
Rusty old bird feeder station pole (Broadstone BH18)
Expired
As per the title, it is old and rusty but a rub down with a wire brush and a bit of Hammerite paint would give it a few more years. Comes apart for transport, has two fixed hooks at the top, one moveable hook lower down and one ring which is also moveable. If you wanted to try feeding the birds at minimal cost this would do you for a year or three without any attention. We are at the top end of Broadstone.

Is anyone planning a cheap day trip to the IOW? (Broadstone BH18)
Expired
IOW bus timetable, good until 24th May. You would have to get the ferry across (cheap for walking passengers) then bus your way around on a free bus pass if you have one. You see a lot more of the island from the top of a bus than driving a car. We are in the North of Broadstone. It will just go in the recycling if no-one wants it.

Free:
Caravan/Camping chairs (Broadstone BH18)
Gifted
We have two of these caravan/camping chairs. They fold quite flat for easy storage and are light weight. We are in Broadstone.

Free:
Working old '18V' electric drill in box (Broadstone BH18)
Gifted
This has been sat in a garage for a few years but (not with the supplied battery) it seems to work ok. No drill bits included! The charger will run the drill using a supplied "dummy" battery which connects to the battery charger. I'm not sure it would be possible (or worth the cost) to acquire a new battery for the drill, but it may do a job as-is if you can't afford a new one. If no-one wants it then it will just got to the recycling skip. We are in Broadstone.

Free:
Two folding camping or garden chairs (Broadstone BH18)
Expired
Two dark green/white folding seats, fold more-or-less flat so don't take up much space when stored. These have been used on and off over a period of 15 years, now a little worse for wear but all still usable as comfortable seats. We are in Broadstone.

Free:
Drain rodding set (Broadstone BH18)
Gifted
Several flexible rods plus a spiral hook, wheel and circular pusher/puller end. Not used for years. In Broadstone.

Free:
Two wood strips left over from Howdens kitchen (Broadstone BH18)
Expired
Instinct was to just bin these but thought they may do someone a favour. The first picture is the end of a quarter-round corner just less than 3" across each flat face. It is about 60" long, big enough to make a tidy picture frame. The colour is the same light grey you can see on the other piece. The second picture shows the end shape of a piece of edge trim, same colour but about 75 inches long. Sorry to mix the measurements but the size of the second cross section is about 3x4cm. We are in Broadstone.

A "Happy Birthday" blow-up decoration (Broadstone BH18)
Gifted
In the photo, this is hanging in front of a picture on the wall, and another Christmas decoration which is not included. This wasn't expensive to buy but it seems a waste to just burst the letters and bin them as they are ready to use and strung on the wire that was provided. There is a tube you could use to blow them up further but they really don't need it. In Broadstone or may be able to deliver to Merley next time we are over that way.

Foolscap hanging files (Broadstone BH18)
Expired
We have about 25 foolscap size (bigger than A4) hanging files which were given to us a while ago. I have converted the filing cabinet to take the A4 files we already had, so we no longer need the foolscap ones. They have all been used and many of them are for large quantities of paper, but I've folded the bases so that they work ok in a normal file situation. We are in Broadstone and would like them gone. Many still have the original index label holders.

Request:
Windows 10 laptop (Broadstone BH18)
Received
Sorry it's a wanted. Many of the older laptops will not work with the new Windows 11, so they are being replaced. If you have a Windows 10 laptop you are consigning to the bottom of the wardrobe, I can probably install Linux and continue to use it for many years to come. Happy to collect as long as it is working. Thanks for reading.

White toilet seat and lid (Broadstone BH18)
Expired
Obviously this is a used item, it was a 'soft close' seat but the mechanism doesn't work so you have to close it manually. Fittings and sample instructions are included for a toilet where the fitting bolts are visible below the sides of the toilet, not the new fangled type with just two holes in the top. In Broadstone, will end up in the Poole Tip 'hard plastics' skip if no-one wants it.

A pair of conifers, about 4 feet tall. (Broadstone BH18)
Gifted
ALREADY OFFERED These were originally the centre-piece of some hanging baskets, but it seemed a pity to throw them out when the annuals keeled over in the winter. They are 5 or more years old and about 4 feet tall. They would be fine for a few years in larger pots or could be planted to slowly grow into mature trees. They are not Leylandii so don't expect them to put on 3 feet or growth every year. Take either or both, though we would prefer them to go as a pair. We are in Broadstone.

Free:
Pittosporum Tree (Broadstone BH18)
Gifted
ALREADY OFFERED Pittosporum tree, grown from seed from our own tree at the previous house. It is evergreen and has inconspicuous flowers in the autumn with a pleasant, heavy scent. Could be kept trimmed for flower arranging or left to grow where it can get upwards of 30 feet, over many years. It has been in this pot for about 5 years and could do with being planted out but our garden isn't suitable. We are in Broadstone.

Free:
Paddling pool? (Broadstone BH18)
Gifted
This old inflatable boat blows up ok but - as you can see in the second picture - it starts to deflate (slowly) after a few hours. Rather than scrapping it and have it end up in landfill, I wondered whether anyone with young children or visiting grandkids would like to have it as a summer paddling/play pool. It is about 4 or 5 feet long and you can have the (surprisingly effective) foot pump with it to give it a quick boost before it is being used. We are in Broadstone.

Free:
Two tennis(?) racquets (Broadstone BH18)
Gifted
Two tennis racquets (I think). One looks more modern and I have added a second picture taken from the other side. The other seems fairly old, but serviceable. Broadstone.

Free:
Old fashioned radio/cassette player. (Broadstone BH18)
Gifted
This picks up Long Wave, Medium Wave and FM stations through the attached extending aerial and can be powered by a two pin mains lead or 6 large C or D (not sure which, but the biggest) batteries. The thumbnail picture on here is not in the right proportions but if you look at the proper picture you will see it is about 8" high x 12" wide. I haven't used the cassette tape player for years and it goes round but will probably not work. North Broadstone.

Table leg (Broadstone BH18)

This is a single white steel table leg which used to hold up the loose corner of our breakfast bar. It is adjustable up to about 3 feet in length as shown. if no-one wants it, it will end up in the metals skip. Broadstone area.

Request:
Paving blocks (Broadstone BH18)
Received
I am in need of about a dozen paving blocks, not big slabs just the smaller blocks used for driveways. The colour doesn't matter as I just need them to stop our gravel path sneaking under the fence into next door's garden. Broadstone area would be ideal but I can travel so can pick up to suit you.

Free:
Austin A35 sidelight (Broadstone BH18)
Expired
Unusual item to offer on here, but this has been kicking about in my garage for about 60 years. An A35 van was our first car and I have no idea where I got a spare sidelight from. In North Broadstone if anyone has an old A30/35.

Free:
Kitchen roll (cling, alufoil, greaseproof paper) holders. (Broadstone BH18)
Expired
We have a bunch of these roll holders which sat in a cupboard and we have now put the rolls elsewhere. We had stuck some of them in with sticky tabs, some with blue tack and some were screwed in place, they were very useful, kept the rolls organised and we always knew where they were. If you would like one, two or several, please come and take some away. We have eight in all. We are in North Broadstone.

Free:
Large, sturdy cardboard box for packing (Broadstone BH18)
Gifted
Box was used to deliver a new cooker hood, very sturdy. Size 70cm long x 46cm wide x 46cm high. We also have a number of the green open topped vegetable boxes from supermarkets, ready to go as we empty them, stack well. We are in north Broadstone.

White double thickness radiator, approx 36 x 24 inches. Good condition. No idea how old it is as it was here already when we moved in 3 years ago. North Broadstone.

Free:
Stainless Steel, single bowl sink unit (Broadstone BH18)

Free:
Complete 'shaker' style kitchen (Broadstone BH18)
Expired
This kitchen is due to be removed on 20th May, but if you are capable, we would be happy for it to be removed a day or so beforehand. All of the appliances are already spoken for and the final picture shows a tall cupboard and sink cupboard from the utility room. We may decide to redeploy a couple of cupboards into the garage but that is not decided yet. North Broadstone.

Free:
A wall lamp suitable for a porch or conservatory (Broadstone BH18)
Expired
Not suitable for installation outside as it is not certified waterproof. Works fine but we decided to install something a bit more modern. The six small glass panes are plain glass but I probably still have the original smoked glass panes, if you would like them. This wall lamp requires an earth connection, for which it is wired. We are in North Broadstone.
